For decades CCTL has been supporting local writers with a competition called The Front Range Playwright's Showcase.
Playwrights submit one-act plays.  The FRPSPSC choose 3-5 finalists and the plays are performed in the style of Reader's Theater.
Audiences not only see the reading, but hear adjudications of the plays .
But we don't stop there... 
In the season following a Playwrights' Showcase we stage fully realized productions of those same plays in a production known as 
An Evening of Colorado Grown One Acts.
